So pumped- need to calm down- I am going to live out your user name (well, maybe 5 instead) between now and tomorrow night.
I would be more pumped for this game if it wasn't such a let down/collapse toward the end of season after being in first place most of the way. It's a good consolation I guess to be in the Wild Card instead of being at home, but I won't get that pumped unless they beat the Yankees tomorrow and advance to the ALDS. Just being honest. All in all, still a good turnaround season. Hope they can build upon it for the coming years.
Fine to be honest--sucks that you can't get pumped for a playoff game for a team that hasn't had one in 10 years. Especially with the Texans doing what they're doing right now. Personally I'm a lot happier about the last 10 days and the hitting (Springer!) of late than I am still thinking about September.
I am pumped. The team did not quit. And I think learned more from their trouble with tribbles than any division title could have given them. It brought them together. And I think our bats are coming alive.
I'm happy they at least got the Wild Card but it still feels like a let down, especially losing it to the Rangers and their organization rubbing it in with the "We came and took it" slogan, etc. Like I said, it's better than being at home and they live for at least one more game, but it just stings a little how it got to this. Hoping for the best and again it has been a good turnaround season for the organization overall so hoping this is something they can build on.

It stinks to lose the division but the 4-2 road trip when we could have laid down and died doesn't get you pumped up at all?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they are at least a WC team but just not as pumped if they would have won the division. I commend them for coming away with a 4-2 road trip after sucking most of the year on the road. Perhaps they relaxed because they were no longer front runners and there was not much expectations, sort of like the beginning of the year. Not trying to be a downer just stating my feelings/thoughts. Again, hoping for the best.

I wonder if we start CC against a right hander. Valbuena and that short porch in left? Decisions, decisions...
