So damn sick of MLB rain delays this year. I was stoked to get home to watch McCullers and Correa play while watching the draft. El Nino is a ruthless b****.

Everybody understands he makes mistakes in the field... you think you're the only one who sees that?

If Luhnow wants to get one more right-handed OF on this team, then Villar becomes totally expendable.... they've just faced a TON of lefties recently, which has contributed to slumps/benching of Rasmus/Tucker/Valbuena and more playing time for Villar/Gonzalez.

Chris Sale has only seen 39 lefties come to the plate this season... vs. 224 Right handers. I'd say the Astros are playing the matchups.

For real. MLB needs to get with the program. Every stadium needs a retractable roof. No one likes to play a doubleheader.

Too bad Tucker has cooled off because he would for sure be in there instead of Villar. Bill Brown in the pre-show said the team may be shopping Villar. I hope so.

Hmmm so Hinch decides he'll take his chances with Villar in the field for a rh bat against an ace. Kinda has shades of Porter with a certain reliever last year.

Villar got plenty of OF reps in ST at the front office's recommendation... they could see this lineup being a problem against strong left-handed hitters.

Again, this has been a pretty unique last 3-4 weeks... can't remember seeing this many lefty starters against the Astros in this short of a time-span (then again, the CWS seem to have nothing but starting left-handers).

And thanks again for taking the extremist view and putting words in my mouth.

I'm already on record for Villar not being on this team.... but he's still probably better at the plate against a strong left-hander than Tucker/Rasmus/Valbuena/MarGo.

    Sorry man, I really am

But anyone who thinks Villar should be starting games for a team trying to make the playoffs

Doesn't understand baseball all that well

Looks like McCullers will stay in the game. Without a long man available it is sort of necessary.
