Probably not a for-sure catchable ball... but because its Villar back there, I'll blame him.

ay ay villar. LF is where you hide your worst defender and still can't hide him

Villar did a good job tracking the ball but man you have to catch that. It was right in the glove

Would have expected Villar to let that ball bounce off his glove and over the wall...so good job Villar.

I've seen Rasmus do the exact same thing this year.

Is Rasmus also a bad infielder being "hidden" in the outfield?

He wouldn't be out there tonight anyways because of Sale... and Tucker (also a lefty) is not the greatest LF either.

Just have to take it and hope Villar doesn't live up to his MO (make the "routine" play exciting).

Villar has no reason to be in the majors, if we need a right handed outfielder then bring Hoes, who is hitting .332 at triple a, but we are TIRED of watching Villar doing something to help our beloved team lose.

    Yep almost ran into Jake

If Hinch continues to play Villar regardless of anything....it won't end well

Seems like every game Villar plays he makes a very impactful negative play. The pros don't outweigh the cons with this guy.

Hinch continues to disappointment with him using Villar so much. When you are facing Sale, who you know will not allow many runs, and you have McCuller, who is not allowing many runs, what about giving him good defense and fight for that 1 to 0 and 2 to 1 game with good pitching and defense. Don't put our worse defensive player out here, for what reason????
