Yeah, I mean you're not going to win a lot of games when you give up 8 runs. But if the Astros bring some of those runners home from the first three innings and end up with 3 runs instead of 1, this game might look a lot different right about now.
Astros have had three extremely close check swings today, probably benefiting them in some cases. Still, I can't believe Girardi actually had the words come out of his mouth that he thinks all attempts at swings should be considered intent to swing, and there shouldn't be such things as check swings. He actually said that.
Not sure how I feel about Greinke pitching the rest of the playoffs. If this is the best he can do for now then maybe you move him to the bullpen and have someone else start.
