if springer was batting 5th we might have broken 20 runs. 15+ is unacceptable.

Awesome win. Love these day games...makes work that much more enjoyable.

I finally installed the mlb atbat app....I love the highlights and condensed game....just wish it had the commentary.

Left turns are considered unseen. Did you not see run-diff happening?

Consider it an easily "see"-able merge... like Spur 527 into 59/69 South.

Lol. It's all good Buck, since you've shown cordial-ness. Others get treated like frauds until proven otherwise.

Are we just gonna ignore Hinch's magnificent handwriting on the batting order card?

I do look forward to seeing that card versus just a few years ago?

I like MLB.com. Their coverage of baseball is not big-market centric. On their top 10 moments of May page, they make a big deal about Aaron Judge, Trout and even Gallo (probably reasonably so). Plus no mentions of Harper's fight.

But their top two things are things I think are major take-aways of the season.

    2) Chris Sale is on-pace for a 300k season. Something that's only been done by 14 pitchers EVER.
    1) The Astros are f*ck stomping the league.

300+ strikeouts has been accomplished at least 65 times by well more than 14 pitchers. The Astros have 3 1/2 of them in Richard, Ryan, Scott and Randy Johnson.

EDIT - Kershaw, himself, has done it.

Double EDIT - perhaps they mean in the 'modern' era?

As a H-Town sports fan, this stuff drives me crazy. I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out. Until they actually win the World Series, I'd rather not hear about how they measure up to previous teams with similar starts to the season.

40 runs in a 3 game series on the road against a first place team...

    NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Not only that, it was ridiculous that Fiers struck out Castro on fast balls in game 2 of that series.
