It's the best start since 2001. I suspect other teams have done better prior to the 2001 Mariners because the article does not say 2nd best ever. For example, the 1984 Tigers were 37-9 through May.
It's just so satisfying to have a team to root for that is never out of a game. The 11 run inning earlier this week, followed by today's whipping is just so frickin' beautiful to watch! GO STROS!!!
