That has merit. But it also allows the opposing team to pitch around the good bats that are surrounded by lesser ones.

Spreading, in my mind, leads to a more dynamic outcome. It ups the potential you will score a lot, also that you score very little. It puts pressure on the lesser bats to perform. If they do, lots of runs. If they flame out, a couple solo homers may be our only offense.

    Going, going, gone !!

Altuve's first leadoff HR in 3 seasons ('16).

Hasn't really been batting leadoff, so that explains the drought.

I’ll defer to Blummer’s take on the A’s and our ability to rest players.

Framber looks like the kind of guy who would hit up a buffet and go back for thirds.

Yeah probably, but 1500/1 is pretty good odds.

Was that Crane in the clown suit hitting BP?

    If so, that was amazing.

Was that Tony Kemp or Matt Kemp ?! ;)

Tigers radio broadcast boasting about our ability to have a player like Tony batting 9th.

The Tiger's commentator (I hope he's not their color guy) has got the most monotonous voice I've ever heard. How do they have no one better? @Buck Turgidson

That was a b.s. call by the HPU. But I'll take it.
