    Nice start...except for Garret Atkins.

    - K. Matsui reached on bunt single to third, K. Matsui to second on third baseman G. Atkins' throwing error
    - M. Bourn reached on bunt single to third, K. Matsui to third
    - L. Berkman safe at first on third baseman G. Atkins' fielding error, K. Matsui scored, M. Bourn to second

Nice double steal! Btw- Could Carlos Lee dog it down the line anymore. He seriously needs to hustle. It is not acceptable. He was safe not because of his hustle.

I'm really liking Bourn. I hope he keeps playing like this the whole year.

Bourn is 4-4 and is now hitting .320, has 2 steals (13), and 2 r scored.

    Lee just homered so... :)

Good job on Lee redeeming his being fat and slow.

I went to vote an all-star ballot, and I noticed WillyT and Bourn are having almost identical seasons. It was weird, but awesome seeing both of them off to good starts.

Unfortunately, he raised his era to 1.90.

Tremendous start from Cy-Wandy today. Between him and Bourne this year, I really hope they both keep it up!

Even more so for Wandy since we're starved for pitching. Wandy's been due and we've all been hoping that he's been due as well for the ability to put both sides of the coin together with home and away games. This year, it sure looks like he's doing it. Wow.

Then with Bourn, we've all been hoping since the Lidge trade that he'd turn out into something. No dice or even a real sign of dice until this year. The jury on Bourn is very much still out until he shows some sign of putting it together for the year, but I like what I see so far and I like what that means for the rest of our order in terms of relieving pressure.

Eh. Gotta take it a game at a time, lol. He went 4 for 4 and then even had an entire hit the game before... so that's progress :)

Sigh. I wish I could edit my posts, lol.

Lol, I just saw that Bourn stole home. Out-frickin-standing. I don't know, today's Astro's win and bombing my physics final has me in a good mood.

Wandy's pitching his brains out. 11 K's and now BB? I could care less about the 2 ER since we scored more, but the K:BB ratio (infinity) is impressive to say the least!

Wandy's the main reason to watch these days.

Not much mention in this thread about how good Pence has been. High average and a 1-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

For any serious playoff contention, the Astros need both Bourne and Pence to play well, which they are.
