Ok wtf is Garner bringing in Wheeler now?! Should have brought him in the first place. What the hell was his thinking bringing Lidge in after pitching 4 straight nights in a row. He obviously didn't have it tonight. Why the hell are you gonna tax him so early?

Got to watch out for the squeeze play here.

Well...that was an utter waste of 8 innings of confidence replaced by 1 inning of "wtf is wrong with lidge".

Don't blame Lidge for this one. Blame the manager who brought him in when there was a possibility he might not even be available. Seriously why even take that risk, despite what Lidge tells him.

Garner lost this one. First he brought in Gallo in a close game. Than he brought in Lidge who I have lost all my confidence in. He is also should have left Taylor in the game longer. Garner sure does overuse Wheeler, Lidge, and Qualls. I know they are your "best bullpen guys" but they can't pitch every damn day. By the way, LIDGE YOU SUCK.

I am 100% NOT confident in Lidge!
They should have traded him in a deal for Tejada and let Qualls become the closer.
Lidge has 11 LUCKY saves and had been zero dominant!

Lidge is such a freakin gascan these days. This division is going to be real tough this year and we can't afford to give games away like this.

This was not Lidge's worst outing ... He gave up a double and that is it. Bottom line is the defense really failed us today. That and Wheeler's walk is tough to take

Are you on crack?? As a closer you don't give up lead off doubles!!! This guy can't get his first batter out....EVER!!!!!

    enough is enough.

how many games are we gonna sit here and watch our ******* bullpen lose a game for us??? and lidge doesn't have it. end of story. show me the 11 saves, i say who cares. the guy is practically automatic in giving up a)hits b)walks and c)at least one run per appearance..... sorry, but that isn't a closer.

this is just becoming way too much of an annoyance.... we had absolutely no business losing this game - yet alas - our bullpen gives it up and takes a quality start away from bucholz.

    goddamnit i'm fuming.

i know it's early in the season, but this division is to tight to be consistently giving up wins like this.
