Fair enough. You have good points. I legitimately accept them as feedback. I was tired and frustrated by a lot of other things when I wrote this, and I usually would've checked stats like you did before posting. Thank you. Let's just forget about my previous post.
On a side note, Brantley is now at a .318 BA with that last hit. Polanco's 1-8 night yesterday in the 17-inning marathon dropped his BA from .333 to .326. Hope Brantley can win the batting title.
The extra player appears to be an OF. Kemp is out of options. I like Kemp. Overall I think he's close to an average player despite being a nothing the past few days at the plate. For Astros, I think he's some where in the 6th-8th best OF range. Astros don't need a 6th OF. Kemp is likely traded in next month or so. Straw may also be an extra guy. He seems completely unaffected by MLB pitchers (i.e., he's still hitting about the same as he did in AAA besides for walking a lot more).
How many times do we see JR make good to very good plays in RF? For those talk about trading him, this is not the year. I’d think about it more in the offseason.

Need to renovate the Dome before the playoffs. Cole and Verlander would be unstoppable with Straw and Marisnick behind them.
