The Sox are a very good club. Glad we were able to get a game at Fenway. As long as we can avoid a sweep in every series, we will be good.
They're actually not a great team considering how bad their pitching is. This was the Tony Sipp show again. He's to AJ Hinch what Jerome Williams was to Bo Porter last year. Just can't quit him.
The Astros are not as good as their record indicates. They have been overachieving both at the plate and on the mound. The Red Sox (a mediocre ballclub) have exposed the Astros a bit yesterday and today. I have a sinking feeling that this team will come crashing back down to Earth during the second half of the season, and will miss the playoffs and finish around .500.
I feel the team has overachieved some this year but the team definitely has enough talent to make the playoffs. The club has gain a generational player in Correa and has two number 1 talent pitchers in Keuchel and McCullers. McCullers still has some growing to do but he has legit number 1 stuff. My biggest concerns right now with this team is 1B and the bullpen. The bull pen has been REALLY overachieving but they currently don't like ready for prime time overall.
It's about the same quality as saying that the Red Sox are an "elite club." Truly an annoying series.
