Not sure i have ever seen a player picked off first twice in the same game. Altuve continues to be a HORRIBLE baserunner. He has learned nothing.

Watching the Tampa feed (eta: Dewayne Staats is still awesome)...they did a side by side of both of his pickoffs. He did the exact same thing, first movement by the pitcher he's leaning/stepping to 2nd. The pitcher does have a really good move to 1st but hell, does Altuve not watch video?

But guys, Altuve loves the game! That's the only thing that matters! You can't get mad at him for making dumb baserunning mistakes over and over again!

Man, Correa really struggling. I don't get it.

It happens, as long as he gets it together sometime soon. I remember Bagwell having terrible Aprils (97/98ish?) and then wrecking **** the rest of the year.

Hopefully we win so we can brush Jose's baserunning aside.

    Fiers might be settling down.

Who knew Keuchel and Beverley were former teammates?

You think Bagwell in his 7th season is a good comparison to Correa in his 2nd full one.

He did get a little sun out there, though.

Correa decidedly unimpressive this year . I think the hype might be getting to his head . Hinch should move him down in the order until he starts hitting.

Seems like he got off to really slow start last year too. He was absolutely raking in the WBC. I know at the end of the year his numbers will be there.

I'm saying that all great players have bad stretches.

Hard to imagine Aoki striking out for a 4th time here. Let's go Nori.
