As a point of reference, I looked at the Cubs and Cards pitching staffs:

Hammel .250
Garcia .250
Leake .174

In other words, if our bottom of the order was played for the Cubs or Cards, their managers would use the DH for Marisnick, Gomez, and White instead of the pitching spots. That's how bad our hitters are...
