I agree that there isn't much wrong. Jinx's aren't going to be the reason why they come up short either (if they come up short).
Anyone who makes a point based on data certainly changes it when the data changes. Only a fool wouldn't. Hence my point as well. When people were saying that about Gattis, it was true. Now (recently), it isnt true, so no one is saying it. How does this correlation escape your notice or the reason for it?
Of course their isn't that much wrong with the Astros. Because I dont say it all the time like some cheerleader types around here, doesn't mean I dont think it. You asked me directly, so I answered you directly. That all it takes if you really want to know how I feel about something.
How things end up doesn't determine how founded something was when it was said. That is a logic error. A temporal one for sure. I never said it would always be true. Nothing ive EVER said would I say will always be true. All we have is what seems to be true at the moment. Now sometimes, how you see the moment might be wrong. But by the time you realize it, its in the past.
Nope...my response would have been framed differently...something along the lines of: "Hard to not regress from a sub 2.00 ERA and a historic start to the season. Another quality start from Cole. Only one all year has not been quality and that was an inning short of being one"
I don’t think so. I think you would just sit back and report a pitching line if it suits your weak argument. Like I said, you disproved nothing that i said. You just wait for a result and report it. If it doesn’t suit your narrative you will leave it alone. It’s that simple with you and you don’t look as smart as you’re hoping to. Its ok to mention that cole was slowly regressing when its the actual truth that he was. It doesn’t matter that he was sub 2.00 when the regression started. His era in his last 4 starts before last night was pretty pedestrian and if you saw him pitch in those games it was clear that his stuff wasn’t as sharp. Reporting his line ar the end of the game took no thought and was an attempt at being petty and snarky. And as I stated, you don’t seem as smart as you’re trying to seem. Now, I am going to keep producing my opinion as well as facts and numbers too, like I have been. Either deal with it and stop being this pedantic little pest, trying incessantly to sound smart, or don’t. Your choice, I don’t care. You can try again to get a last meaningless word in. Whatever turns your crank.
Kemp is hitting .333 with.a 426 OBP while batting 9th -- both much higher than "not 9th" The main reason seems "protection"... Springer instead of JaKe
If you’re only going off this inning then yes. If you are going off anything more than that, then no.
