They are two different problems. The Luhnow blunder could be righted by a manager who has a shred of talent at building morale in his team. And before anyone cites our winning record, any decent manager should be able to pull off that many wins with the kind of stacked talent we had in the first half of the season combined with the mediocre competition we faced. Sad but true.
Going to the game on Thursday. I will try to ask baseball gods to break the Curse of Aoki during the game but it might take viewing Sandlot on the big screen after the game. Or perhaps the curse is too strong?Maybe if Luhnow releases Liriano and wears an Aoki jersey for the rest of the season.
Went to the game yesterday and will go to the game tomorrow in the Devil's ******* of Arlington. Hoping to see Keuchel come out and pitch a great game so we can start to turn this around.
