Lol what else was Altuve supposed to do there he was pretty much fully extended. Maybe if he was an inch taller. That particular pitch wasn't even that bad either, just a good hit. That said, Martes is wildly inconsistent.
Meanwhile cut to Hinch licking marker off of his hand. I honestly can't stand looking at this emotionless dullard anymore.
Remember when, as recently as two weeks ago, there were people on this very site claiming that there was no one we could trade for who was better than anything we already had? Good times.
players are publicly expressing dismay at the team not making a deadline move can only imagine what they are saying in private deadline seems to be when this slide started this is on Luhnow/Crane, not Hinch
They are two different problems. The Luhnow blunder could be righted by a manager who has a shred of talent at building morale in his team. And before anyone cites our winning record, any decent manager should be able to pull off that many wins with the kind of stacked talent we had in the first half of the season combined with the mediocre competition we faced. Sad but true.
Going to the game on Thursday. I will try to ask baseball gods to break the Curse of Aoki during the game but it might take viewing Sandlot on the big screen after the game. Or perhaps the curse is too strong?Maybe if Luhnow releases Liriano and wears an Aoki jersey for the rest of the season.
Went to the game yesterday and will go to the game tomorrow in the Devil's ******* of Arlington. Hoping to see Keuchel come out and pitch a great game so we can start to turn this around.
Like I said earlier, where are these veteran leaders in the clubhouse? They need a serious "come to jesus" meeting.
I was just saying the same thing yesterday but not a single player or Hinch have yet to do this which makes me think something is going on in that clubhouse
