I think Marisnick plays a better CF than Gomez, but other than let's roll with our righthanded lineup. Still looking for that RH hitting Catcher.

Gattis will fill that role, hopefully soon.

I still think Colby should hit. Prob just a day off tho.
Colby vs lefty is better than numerous people in our lineup.

    Gattis: RH DH, backup C
Tucker: LH DH, 5th OF (LF/RF?)
    White: RH 1B, RH DH (4th 3B?)
    Reed: LH 1B, LH DH

    Soon.

agreed. would prefer Marisnick in center but guess they are just trying to keep it more consistent and not shuffle guys around too much.

Defense in CF is not the problem. I love Marisnick, but him playing solves nothing.

I was hoping we would see Marisnick for Rasmus tonight so glad to see it. Not that he's purely a better option than Rasmus or that this needs to be an official platoon by any means but it is an opportunity to get him on the field a bit in a game where Rasmus would be disadvantaged.

It is almost as if Hinch sees the Astros win a game or two and decides to throw a crap line up out there.... That 5-9... Ugh.

I hope I am wrong but that line up doesn't inspire confidence.

Besides Rasmus, who would you rather have?

    I'd probably put Marwin 5th.

Lineup for the last game was much much worse.

I'm not completely hating on the lineup.. Gattis, Gomez, and Marwin all have the potential to be really good. Castro is probably spent, and Marisnick is up and coming and killed the ball last April so he has potential too. This isn't your normal ca. 2011 Astros lineup...it has the potential to be top if everyone performs like they are supposed to.

Holland getting that inside strike call. On pitches that aren't even close.
