Would have liked to have seen Kazmir match up with Hamels just so we could rub that in the Ranger fan's faces. I'll settle for a sweep, though.
We have to squash these cockroaches and get rid of any Wild Card hopes they may have. I don't want to give all of those bandwagoners a reason to get their Rangers hat back out from the closet.
Haven't watched him, but stats say he's pitched really well over the last 2 months, aside from 1 start. Hopefully he comes down a bit

Here is a story about the meaning. Fair warning it is bleacher report and an article by a Rangers fan so it is very poorly written and it contains misspellings.
So Asher Wojciechowski has a 5.42 ERA @ AAA Fresno. I can't believe how much he has fallen off from a phenomenal spring training that landed him third in the Astros rotation. Next season might be his last in professional baseball if this keeps up, Asher is nearing 27 years of age already.
I still don't care much about Rangers. Sad to say, I care more about the heated rivalry with the Rockies, still.
On paper, Astros have the pitching advantage each game. Game 1 Lewis' numbers are good against us (ERA 2.78), but he's struggled in Arlington (ERA 4.76) and now we've added GoGo. McCullers hasn't faced TEX. Typically it's advantage pitcher in that situation. Game 2 We bullied Gallardo earlier this year (ERA 6.52), plus he's been playing poorly of late. Last 7 games, ERA 7.50 with a 1.67 WHIP. Like Lance, TEX hasn't seen Fiers. Mike has surging of late, ERA 3.00 / 0.87 WHIP last 7 games. Game 3 We haven't seen Martinez, and has been somewhat surging recently. His low ERA 2.84 doesn't compliment his 1.42 WHIP. Maybe he's getting lucky. Kazmir OTOH, has been killing everyone, especially TEX... 1.29 ERA / 0.62 WHIP. Thank God there aren't any bad matchups!!! Stros have a legit chance to sweep, if they can rediscover how to play away from MMP.
Lewis has pitched much better than numbers show. I would use this lineup against him: 1. Altuve 2b 2. Cargo CF 3. Correa SS 4. Tucker LF 5. Gattis DH 6. Lowrie 3b 7. Rasmus RF 8. Valbuena 1b 9. Conger C
