    Another save for Lindstrom. He has turned out to be quite the acquisition. Just another player to consider trading if the right deal comes along.

    Myers keeps getting it done. He may not have the peripherals of some of the top line pitchers but 19 consecutive starts of 6+ IP to open the season is amazing.

    What's up with the whole turn to third and then to first for the Pirates pitcher??? Didn't help him much, short night and the good offensive showing under baggy continues. :grin:

    Seems like Wright's transition to a starter down in RR is progressing along. He isn't the PCL on fire, but doing a serviceable job. Let's see what he does in his first MLB start.

    Wesley Wright!!! Remember he got his first major league win at Wrigley Field, I hope Paulino's alright thought, horrible luck for him, he should have atleast 5 or 6 wins and now an injured shoulder

    Real pitching duel tonight...

    Dueling to see who sucks less.

    CJ's error didn't help the cause for Bud in the 1st but Bud is getting hit hard all the same.

    I had a feeling Lee was gonna GIDP to kill that big inning.

    Berkman is now tied for 8th in the NL in walks despite missing 15 games.

    Edit: 3rd unintentional walk of the game for Puma. Now tied for 7th.

    Pence has looked pretty shaky defensively over the last several games.

    I can remember at least 3 poor plays over that stretch.

    We need a run in the 8th and am not really worried about a washed up Dotel in the 9th, I still believe!!!
