    Sad about Correa.
His swing really does a number on his back.
2 years and the problem hasn’t disappeared.
Doesn’t look like rest is the answer.

    Feel bad for him

He said that a couple of days ago, just because of the travel situation.

Do we get to see Alvarez in LF? I kinda hope so. If he's gonna play there at some point this year he might want a warmup (or "show me") game.

I am assuming all of this:

    1. He has a disc issue
    2. At his age you try to do rest/rehab
    3. If it keeps recurring...
    4. Discectomy
    5. It's not as bad of a procedure as it sounds, many players have had this done
    6. At his age, the prognosis for recovery to where he was is high, as opposed to an older player
    7. I hope this doesn't become a medical problem until November
    8. Who the **** knows?

Agreed, no matter if he's here or somewhere else he'll almost have to move from SS if he wants to have any kind of longevity

I hope the team is looking for second and third and fourth opinions for Correa regarding his back during the offseason. And closely working with him to make sure he doesn't do anything not prescribed for it, i.e. no more massages. I think everyone including him ought to know at this point that they're sitting on the knife's edge of his career prospects. He gets a healthy year in next year, and he's probably salvageable as a franchise player or valuable trade asset. But any more injuries, and his value's in the toilet for good.

One of the problems of being on and off the starting lineup so much is the transition back to form each time. Yeah, hopefully, he's healthy by the playoffs, but hopefully before then, so he can work out any kinks before the first game. Don't need him putting up 0fers in October while he's readjusting.

    Sad situation.

I wonder if the person who came up with Take "IT" back marketing strategy realizes that's not the best idear we've ever had.

Rooting for the Rays right now. They're up 4 - 0 on Yankees with 1 out left in the 9th.

And it's over. CFM and friends one-hit the Yanks. Now, the best AL record is pretty much in the bag (*knocks wood*), so who do we root for? The Indians to muck of the Wild Card, right?
