I'd hate to say it, but does it really matter?? I didn't think I'd be rooting to the 2015 #1 pick this early in the season, but, that's how the mop flops I guess. I think it's safe to start a 2015 #1 pick thread. We aren't going to be picking anything past the 3rd pick.
We don't have the worst record in baseball. Only feels that way when you lose 7 straight and have an offense filled with JR Towles stat lines.
Along with a -41 run differential. Can't believe Arizona's is actually worse. Both teams will get better... however Arizona's better is likely much better than the Astros better at this time.

Some more "tremendous" base running by Altuve. Forgot to touch 2b on his way back to first? I think he's now committed every sort of base running mistake there is.
Altuve does it again on the base paths. Neglects to retouch 2nd after a fly ball is caught and he retreats to first. How much longer will Porter put up with this type of idiotic base running? It has nothing to do with hustle and ability. That is all mental. Edit: Nick was quicker.
Porter should be getting an extension any day now, its not his fault the team lacks fundamentals and focus. Oh wait, yes it is! Scratch that.
I am curious to see if Porter finally publically calls out Altuve as he has Villar, Dominguez and JD Martinez among others.
He can't. To him, Altuve really is invisible. All kidding aside, though, I don't think calling out the players in the media is doing much for anybody... except getting Bo some decent highlights of his press conferences.
