I think he would have if he hadn't pitched in the Texas finale. He would be my choice to start next time, though he will be sorely missed out of that pen.
Yes, definitely out of the question. May end up having Devinski and Feliz tag team the 5th start once they have time to get some rest.
Interestingly, he last pitched September 1, so this would be normal rest. I can imagine Peacock will have a short leash, and they try and bridge with Paulino, Gustave, and whoever else to get to the bullpen if it's still close.
Kemp with a start. Nice. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Astros lineup <a href="https://t.co/FwDXQ3lCVm">pic.twitter.com/FwDXQ3lCVm</a></p>— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) <a href="https://twitter.com/brianmctaggart/status/773252392972234752">September 6, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm going to the day game Thursday. I'll be sitting front row down the third base line, somewhere just past the tarps, looks to be shallow left field. Look for the white goober in the 80's rainbow sleeve Nolan Ryan jersey. Rep if someone posts a picture of me from the game on here.
Uh, wut. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Hinch announces David Paulino will start vs Cleveland Thursday.</p>— Julia Morales (@JuliaMorales) <a href="https://twitter.com/JuliaMorales/status/773263206278164480">September 6, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
perhaps stretching Musgrove for the rest of the season with an extra day off here and there? Esp w/some of his issues lately? Also allows Musgrove to pitch at home, where he has been lights out so far. And stay off the road, where he has been pummeled so far.
I still have absolutely no clue why Peacock was the one chosen to start this game. He is literally the worst pitcher on the 40 man roster.
