As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else. 5-25 Lucas Harrell, RHP vs. Clayton Kershaw, LHP 9:10 on FSH 5-26 Bud Norris, RHP vs. Chad Billingsley, RHP 9:10 on FSH 5-27 J.A. Bud's got 7 quality starts out of 9. Throw out his hiccup in Milwaukee, and he's got a 2.26 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. Hope he keeps it going!
It will take a miracle to win tonight. Nothing like matching up your number 4/5 starter against another team's ace.
I can't believe this is the last time we head to Dodger Stadium as an NL team. Growing up with the Dodgers as our rival, this is the road trip I was looking forward to the least this year.
Every time stuff like this gets brought up, it depresses me. I'm going to the Reds game next Friday, and then I'll go see them in Atlanta later this season, but after that, it may be years before I get to see them in person again.
No, I live 100 miles south of Atlanta. The Reds game is in Houston. Visiting family in Houston for the first time in 9 years. I'm pretty damn excited.
While still an Astros fan, I've really started liking the Dodgers. They're one of the teams that gets shown frequently here in Vegas on Fox Sports (along with Anaheim, Oakland and San Francisco). The Dodgers have a pretty good nucleus and have been winning games with a good portion of their core group out with injuries. Was planning on going to LA this weekend to see the in-laws...and kept telling my wife that we should catch a game. Of course I would be torn on exactly who to cheer for. Definitely wouldn't wear any Houston gear to Dodger Stadium. I fear death and wouldn't want it to occur in the parking lot after the game. That being said, sitting in the outfield at a Dodger game might be one funnest experiences at a ballgame.
I was hoping to go to this one for just that reason. I have a customer in the area that has promised me tickets...but I couldn't get out there this weekend. Oh well...guess I'll be making a trip to Anaheim Stadium of Anaheim next season.
This. Living in SD now, this is the only reason I am okay with the move to the AL. Looking forward to the purchase of new Altuve jersey next year and wearing to plenty Astros-Angels games.
i live in dallas and i'm definitely pumped about seeing them here in arlington multiple times.. plus the drive to houston isn't bad…. when we are good. haha.. and i think we will surprise most people. after we played the rangers close and winning a game i think the astros have proven they aren't as bad as last years team.. maybe we could be that young team that plays above expectations tonight and steals one from LA?
