WLLW I always count the Astros out if they're against a high strikeout rate pitcher like Kershaw or Billingsley. Our team is a bunch of free-swingers.
3 out of 4, no worse than a split. Wandy continues his masterful form tonight. W Billingsley and Oswalt will be a duel. Push First time we saw Kershaw, I thought the offense handled him pretty well. Unless I'm mistaken, we did knock him for a bit of a loop. Then I almost forgot that we're countering with Mike Hampton. L Ortiz vs. Kuroda to wrap it up.... I'll go with a win. Hopefully Russ has put those last two abysmal outings behind him.
LWWL... Wandy might have some issues tonight but still think he goes 6 strong just not enough vs the WOLFPAC! Roy will take care of business Hampton will rebound and give us 6 quality Russ will pitch his last game as a starter on Sunday... Key will be getting into there bullpen and making them pay for there injury issues.
Oswalt will probably bring it, but Billingsley mowed us down earlier this year, has done well against us in the past, and this is likely the game that our bullpen blows...
Check this offense's history against Billingsley. The team this year has a handful of quality wins against quality teams--but they have a bigger handful of ass-kickings from quality teams. Of course, I can't wait until they prove me wrong!
Ok only 80 min to go...glad MLB is back and we can see what these Stros are made of...a split would be nice!
Nice play Matsui!!! He is an above avg defensive 2nd baseman when the fool doesnt have an annoying injury!
