Cmon Blum, losing Gattis isn't really considered a handcuff.

Not that it would have mattered but that second strike call to DK wasn't even close to a strike.

With the expanded rosters, why not announce a hitter as the starting pitcher? In case of that rare scenario of the 9 spot batting in the top of the 1st.

    Intriguing?

I think I'm officially here now, too. Keuchel just looked strange up there.

Exactly what we needed out of a first inning. Gives Keuchel a cushion to work with and puts pressure on the Twins and Angels to do something. You know they see the scoreboards...

    Indeed. Interesting idea.

Yeah that was pretty pathetic. Let's see if the plate ump has that strike zone for Dallas. IF he does, this should be easy tonight

Wouldn't he still have to face one batter though? (If he's on the official lineup card as a "pitcher")

i mean in normal circumstances, if a pitcher were to get injured batting or warming up or something. do they just award the leadoff hitter a base?

Hard to watch two games at once. Watching the Stros on Root and the Rangers on the MLB app on the laptop. Tummy is already in knots.

Not sure why, but I'm more concerned about the Twins than the Angels.
