    Larusa just made a great point ! He said teams still scrubbing for a playoff spot the last few days are better prepared for October he said those that have clinched lose that competitive edge. Guess that explains wild card winners winning it all

    It's definitely part of it... But baseball playoffs are still a crapshoot and most playoff teams can beat any other team any given day.

    yeah i mentioned a few weeks ago during our slide that if we somehow righted the ship and came back and took the division, we'd probably be the hottest team going into the playoffs.
