Anyone catch the Jay Leno opening monologue last night? I just happened to catch it but don't normally watch it. He started talking about how the Little League World Series is going on and then he name dropped the "Houston Astros" as one of the teams. Doh!

And I was just thinking while looking at St Louis's lineup how many HR's those starters have compared to ours
Well, this team is now 1 game off of last year's pace. They were 40-84 through 124 games last season. Don't know how Baseball Prospectus projects 107 losses for the Astros this season, but they're probably good for at least 5 more losses the way they're playing...

I think 80% of our losses happen in the 5th or 6th innings. Or put another way, 80% of our losses happen in the last inning our starter is in the game.
The Astros now have a 12-51 road record. The worst road record in MLB history is held by the '63 Mets and 2010 Pirates at 17-64. We'd have to do worse than 5-13 in order to take sole ownership of that dubious honor. We're on pace to go 15-66. I think we can do it.
Remaining road games: 3 - Mets 3 - Pitt 3 - Cin 3 - StL 3 - Mil 3 - Cubs That last road series vs the Cubbies will be pivotal.
