Nice, Bregs. No way he hits it that far with his swing earlier in the season. Astros love hitting to dead center in this park.
I wish every batter in our lineup had as much determination in their eyes as Greinke had when he was at the plate tonight.
Ehhh let’s just wait and see when the playoffs come around... Springer could play tomorrow or be out a month... Pressly is 2-3 weeks away, no one knows what is happening with Correa.. Greinke has decided to give up 10 straight runs with two outs.... Chirinos has stopped hitting.... Osuna isn’t nails....... AND none of that will matter if Verlander, Cole, Harris, Miley, Alvarez, Bregman and Altuve keep playing like they are. Verlander and Cole have some serious Johnson/Schilling vibes going.... which is also why I would rather the Astros divert the money they had set aside to Correa and add it to the offer they intend to make to Cole so we can actually keep him. I am fine with Toro at 3rd and Bregman at SS.
You can't throw 90 mph in this day and age in baseball--you will get crushed by these modern hitters--Astros should have known better
Alex Bregman for MVP needs to start picking up serious steam among the media. He has a good chance to finish the season with an OPS above 0.950 with 100+ RBI's on a 100+ win team. When is that not a lock for MVP?? Mike Trout is great and all, but how much "value" do you really bring to a team thats not even 0.500?
