Interesting that Chirinos gets back to back off days. His bat lost a lot of its early sizzle from playing every day.... here’s to hoping he gets it back. It is surprising they’re giving him the day off with Greinke - I would’ve thought they’d want to get the two of them as much rhythm together as possible.

Wonder if it's a personal catcher situation brewing? Something to get Greinke back to full Greinke? It's been a while but Maldonado caught him 11 times back in '12 when they were both with the Brewers. Or Chirinos could be a little banged up and Hinch wants to give him a full 3 days off? Haven't heard anything about that though.
