Not worried. White's not gonna hit .500 for the entire season and Collin's ERA isn't going to be a billion. We all know this team thrived at home cooking last year and stunk it up on the road.
Sorry to interrupt but... you're 41? I've always thought you were older, like Colts 45s-older. Not because you post/"act" like it or anything - I'm pretty sure I gathered that from things you've said here or there - maybe it's your name referencing a movie from 1964... Sorry. That just threw me a bit. Carry on...
I struggle with condemning teams for making good decisions that simply don't work out. My only complaint with the deal - and this is a bit of hindsight - is Gomez's health. He failed the Mets' physical and his play here has been indicative of someone playing hurt. If the Astros weren't as diligent (which, given their Aiken situation, I find hard to believe), I think that merits criticism. But Gomez, on paper at least, was exactly the kind of player the Astros needed last year. He significantly upgraded our CF offense while not taking any defensive advantage off the table.
i don't like brian t smith's style. they remind me of the " dear (insert rockets player's name)" threads in the garm. In fact, those threads are at least funny.
