All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP, that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on Root Sports unless otherwise noted.

7-4 Brad Peacock RHP vs. Sean Newcomb LHP 6:35

7-5 TBA vs. Jaime Garcia LHP 6:35

Too bad we didn't match up with R.A. Dickey this year... after watching his story you can't help but root for guy and it's interesting to see a kunckleballer

Every time we try to demote a SP we get foiled by injuries or suspensions. Here's to hoping Musgrove has the same revival Fiers had after his brief demotion!

Newcomb is LHP and had been playing very well.

Bats might not slug early on.

Is Julia really going to race Mr. Freeze or was it all just playing around? Also can someone clarify something for me I can't find it on the internet as to how many times per game Mr. Freeze races. It would seem that if he races (between innings) as I have read then 8 or 9 times a game or even 17 or 18 times would be even more exhausting for him.

Rough to get them on the day Freeman is finally off the DL. He was crushing the ball before he left. Very curious to see his skill level at 3B. I would try and test him if any shifts leave him isolated.

Did Musgrove even pitch a game in the minors? It's painful to watch some of these guys struggle to get 4 innings.

    Answers to Questions:

The Freeze only races once per game. Not sure what inning it is in.

Musgrove pitched one game threw 7 innings of 1 H baseball. 2 walks and 7 K's/

Yes, on June 29th he threw seven innings giving up one hit, no runs, walking two, and striking out seven.
