All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on Root Sports unless otherwise noted. 8-12 Joe Musgrove, RHP vs. Francisco Liriano, LHP 6:07 8-13 Collin McHugh, RHP vs. Aaron Sanchez, RHP 12:07 8-14 Mike Fiers, RHP vs. Marcus Stroman, RHP 12:07
This is the series that will define the season. With the outbreak of offense last night, I am predicting this to go 3-0 in our favor. The bats and pitching finally on the same page.
Astros are 2 out of the wild card, we aren't just chasing the Rangers. But under no circumstances can they loose a and get swept. A series 2-1 win would be fine. But if their offense goes on hiatus, and they lose 8 out of 10 again, seal up the playoffs hopes till next year.

http://www.chron.com/sports/astros/...l-up-outfielder-Teoscar-Hernandez-9138976.php TORONTO --- The Astros on Friday promoted outfielder Teoscar Hernandez from Class AAA Fresno, sources confirmed to the Chronicle. Hernandez was penciled in to start in center field and bat eighth against the Blue Jays on Friday. In other moves, closer Ken Giles was placed on paternity leave. Giles is not with the team in Toronto as he and his wife expect their first child this weekend back in Houston. Players who go on paternity leave are allotted as many as three game days away from their team. Reliever Luke Gregerson (oblique strain) was then activated from the disabled list and outfielder Preston Tucker (right shoulder strain) was placed on the DL, freeing up a spot for Hernandez. Hernandez, a 23-year-old native of the Dominican Republic, has split this season between Fresno and Class AA Corpus Christi. At Corpus Christi, he hit .305 in 69 games with 6 home runs and 30 RBIs with an OPS of .821 before being promoted. In 38 games at Fresno, Hernandez batted .313 with 4 homers, 23 RBIs and an OPS of .865. In five-plus minor league seasons, Hernandez has a .269 average, 74 homers, 299 RBIs and a .784 OPS.
