Wonder how Josh James is doing. He was up and down but his stuff would miss bats more often than most of the guys in the pen currently.
National Free museum day is Sept 21, the Astros are at home, and we now have museum. Everyone better get in for free or I fully expect a riot ( the day before fan appreciation day, lol )
I don't think I have EVER seen a game with seven singles in one inning. Not sure I have ever seen a play like the A's just made robbing Brantley of a hit.
Now does anybody think that freaking out over the baltimore/ Chicago series was an overreaction? Time to make peace with no home field advantage.
Maldonado saying he felt at home with the Astros seems to be the consensus. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/16/sports/baseball/houston-astros.html The Astros Are Major League Baseball’s Happy Place
We'll get it back together. Just a little concerning at the lack of urgency I've seen from AJ on down. But too much talent to not recoup. Would be OK to not see Devo,Armpitero, and Osuna (not happening) . Our pen is crap. I BELIEVE though.
Everybody in Houston was ready to crown this team one week ago, and then Osuna came in for the bottom of the 9th in Baltimore..they haven't been the same since---that was the catalyst
Agreed, I cringe every time I see him come in....he has serious trouble closing out...which is what he is paid to do.
