Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess). 5-13 Bud Norris, RHP vs. Anibal Sanchez, RHP 6:08 5-14 Lucas Harrell, RHP vs. Doug Fister, RHP 6:08 5-15 Dallas Keuchel, LHP vs. Max Scherzer, RHP 12:08
At least we avoid Verlander, maybe we can steal a game. L W L We've been in a pretty ruthless stretch here. After this series the schedule lightens up considerably.
I am also of the opinion that the Astros can hopefully steal one game in this series. Unfortunately, I'll have to mark this one as another series loss.
Other than Seattle, it certainly has been brutal (I guess I can throw the Angels in there, but they should be better).
Seattle has a .500 record against the rest of the league. 2-4 against us. 16-16 against everybody else.
Altuve removed from the game. Shaken up. You could see on the reply Altuve calling "i got it" the whole way. Is Paredes deaf?

Amazing that the Astros have a team ERA of 5.78 - over a run higher than any other team. For comparison purposes, the entire range from best in the league (3.03) to 2nd worst (4.74) is only 1.70. WHIP is similarly horrific: Best: 1.19 2nd Worst: 1.46 (+0.27) Astros: 1.66 (+0.20)
Don't make a lot of sense with MMP not being a pitchers park, but last year he was 4-1 with a 1.71 era at home, 3-12 6.94 away also . . .although before last year there wasn't much of a difference in his home/road splits
hasnt it already been proven that MMP is pretty fair to both hitters and pitchers.. its neither a hitters nor pitchers park. some balls tend to sneak out there in left but the gigantic center field evens things out..
Yes it pretty much performs as a neutral park, extreme stats like Norris right now are more what you would see for an extreme pitchers park though, that was my point. I think his splits are more of an aberration right now but the longer he performs well at home an terrible on road you have to wonder
