I would think they would let Reed get a hit before demoting him. Would mess with his head if they didnt....

Well, i said Springer was going to have a good game, BUT, also said Reed was going to get on base twice and K was going to pitch 7 innings, so only 1 of 3, ouch.

Wait, that is a .333 average, and this is baseball, right??? lol

I believe Springer is now 8-17 against Weaver. The slop don't work on him.

I was going to post something about Keuchel's 10 pitch 4th inning and great finish to the 5th, but I did some push-ups instead.

He certainly doesn't look like some star in waiting. His bat speed doesn't look very fast.

I'm pretty sure Keuchel will come out for the 6th, but I hope AJ pulls him quickly if he gets into any trouble. Then it will be Giles/Gregerson/Harris to finish if Keuchel can get through the 6th.

Do you guys think Altuve will be swinging for the fences or just play it normal?

Definitely for the fences with the two outs and a possible cycle.

I think he'll go for an inside the parker even if the ball doesn't leave the infield.

Giles warming up to pitch in the 6th if necessary, by using Feliz for 2 innings yesterday is not available tonight unless we go to extra innings looks like.

Lance Berkman was 2-21 and couldn't hit the proverbial water out of a boat. It's early.

Trout was about the same in 2011. He turned out okay.

Should K start the 7th? Is the fourth time around and is a time where K struggles.

I think we should use Giles in the 7th.

K after all did a very nice job with 6 innings and 2 earn runs. I said before the game he was going to throw 7, but with Calhoun, Trout and Pujols coming up, i prefer a fresh Giles.
