I just want to see a good 6+ innings from McCullers and Springer and Correa to keep hitting well.

Will be nice to get Altuve back in there, especially against the two LHP

Springer is in center even with Rasmus in the lineup.

Altuve needs to bat 1st or 7th or 8th, he doesn't take enough pitches and that can kill the stolen base threat that our first two batters have.

I agree, Tuves is not third spot material unless he gets on a tear which he is not.

He was great to start off the year at hitting with RISP, think that might be part of Hinch's thinking. I agree with you conceptually though.

He's the better CF. Hell, he may be a better CF than Marisnick (but Marisnick is not the better RF than Springer).

Actually, i prefer him at third over first 2 spots, why???

Because he does not get on base enough because he just don't walk.

Now, he can give you a nice average of .290, meaning, with men on base, he can DRIVE runs.

I think Hinch has him batting third to maybe limit his running and re-aggravating the hammy.

    I would like to see:
    1. Springer
    2. Correa
    3. Gattis
    4. Altuve
    5. Rasmus
    6. Carter

    Why bat Altuve behind Gattis?

Jose's job right now in this lineup is pretty simple (and something he does quite well)... don't strike out.

With Springer/Correa in front of him (good speed), it mitigates the GIDP factor. You get them on base, and he's either in position to move them over... or drive them in.

Right now he is not going to run very fast, hamstring issues
