The fact that MDA has given this rookie significant rotation minutes tells me all I need to know. Gets lost at times, can't create his own shot, seems a bit stiff, but he's a rookie, can definitely improve and most likely will. Team trusts him to jack up 7 threes, that's awesome. Must be a dead eye in practice (not an insult).

I really like him so far. He just seems to have a good feel for the game and knows what the Rockets want out of him - play defense, take open 3s. What impresses me is that even when he makes a mistake, he often either corrects the mistake right away, or he at least doesn't compound the error with even more dumb plays. He's level-headed, I guess I'm saying. I don't see him making a lot of "What the hell, rookie?" plays like we often see from Hartenstein, for instance.

Calm under pressure, always seems to be in the right place at the right time, great defender, hits the three. Great find. Good 3 and D player. How about just Clark and leave out the silly Bullard nicknames.

Are we just going to ignore that Marv Albert thinks his name is Gary Cook?

I'm convinced Clark gonna be a great player with a high ceiling. This is from the guy that thought Twill was gonna thrive in the Adleman offense to so you know my opinion has street cred.

His nickname in college was the problem. Would make sense we're in Houston.

Some of you guys keep saying that Gary isn't consistent with his shot and his defense. Where are are you getting that from? I'm rewatching these games and he is making up for a lot the vets gambling. For instance, Ennis is roamer and a gambler, but when Gary is in he tends to let Ennis do just that while covering for his man on the weak side.

And as for his shot he isn't afraid to take the three when he is passed the ball which is huge IMO. Ryno was a good shooter but was afraid to shoot which completely nullified his effectiveness.

That's how unknown he is. Marv called him Ennis. In fairness, they're both about the same height, play similar positions, and have similar looking jersey numbers. Plus Marv is 126 years old.

I still don't get why they are getting confused for one another, Ennis wears an impossible amount of accessories while Gary wears like non.
