McHugh has looked awesome since he came back. He could be the extra big bullpen weapon we've needed to add.

Mchugh after getting the player of the game interview on the radio: "I'm not trying to be Wild Thing out there"
According to Fox broadcast, Trout is pretty good at baseball. They almost never mentioned it.

Yuli....oh my goodness...that dude is on fire. 8hr's in 10 games.

Also, that trajectory of the Alvarez rbi double had me fooled, I thought it was gone when it left the bat.

It still annoys me the hate Chris Carter used to get on this board during the ‘15 season. Yes he was really bad...but at least still hit for power (24 HRs). And saved our season with some big HRs when the Astros were choking away the division to Texas. All I know is Brantley, Alvarez or Tucker better learn to play 1B next season.

Yuli... who has 8 HR in his last 43 plate appearances after 5 in his first 304.

The question is really about health and Kyle Tucker. If both Correa and Diaz aren’t hurt, Yuli is playing more first.

As it stands, we either play a guy who had never played a pro (or college) game of shortstop before this year, or we play White at first. If Tucker demands PT, that also creates interesting choices with Brantley-Springer-Reddick all signed for next year.

I was wondering what the poster was going to do if those things didn't happen.

Brantley back and Yuli bats in front of Alvarez. Over under 0.5 intentional walls for Alvarez today with White batting behind him. I'll go with over.

Why the **** would you put white behind Alvarez. Give him some damn protection!

I’d be more upset about putting Alvarez in the field.

In the end, with the way Yuli is going, there’s nothing wrong with the guys at the top of this lineup getting the most AB’s.

Given that Yuli's our hottest hitter, why wouldn't you want him getting protection?

I am so disappointed every time I see White in the lineup and behind Alvarez to boot. Why not gurriel at first and straw at short. No reason to rest Reddick right before the all star break. Both Kemp and White should be history when Correa and Diaz return. I really don't get why white, kemp need playing time the day before the all star break with a rookie on the mound.

Alvarez might not see a strike at all today. White and Stassi behind him? I wouldn’t throw him a thing to hit.

Hinch sneakily preparing Alvarez to bat 6th with the imminent return of Correa and to piss off multiple bbs members at the same time. Very smooth.
