TBA for Saturday. I assume September 1 allows the full 40 man roster? So what starters do we have that will be coming up from the minors, just Perez? Or has Deetz been starting as well? I could see Peacock or McHugh starting that game, like Hinch did that week, with one of the call-ups taking over in the second or third inning.
It didn't make it to even the next game, so I doubt it'll be an issue. Everyone handled it professionally.
Blum just talked about how the ball stuck in the roof against Oakland (during the series he took off) was the second one this season. When was the first and who was it against, again, could someone please remind me? I vividly remember it happening but it escaped my mind who we were playing and it's been bugging me for a few days. Anyone remember?
Absolutely no trust in Correa driving in a run unless it's a sac fly opportunity. He's been bad. Dude doesn't need to be hitting 4th.
Correa isn't healthy at all. He can't catch up to the fastball right now. Hinch isn't doing him any service by having him bat 4th at the moment.
It’s not just that the DP record is terribly embarrassing and that our hitting coach should find his shit in a box next time he shows up for work, it’s that so many of these DPs would’ve resulted in runs scored had they not occurred. Might as well start stealing second after every first pitch.
