JAKE! He looks so much more comfortable at the plate this year thus far.

Excluding injury, Springer hasn't missed many games as an Astros, including zero last season. It's not surprising he would play.

The Pregame said today was a scheduled day off for Reddick. Gotta stay on schedule ;)

It's just a silly thing to consider when determining who may or may not start. Springer has now played 203 consecutive games. So what.

Like I said, Jake should start over Reddick today.

(complete opposite of what I really said)

What if Jake is a good hitter this year? Is there such thing as too many good outfielders?

I am going to go out on a limb and vote "no" on this one. Never can tell when an injury can occur....Springer plays with some reckless abandon!

BWAHAHA. Devo comes in like an Assassin and puts and end to that nonsense. Love it.

if jake can somehow hit 270 over a full year, he becomes a ridiculously valuable player.

20 years from now Dev's role will have a cool name in big leagues in his honor.

I was just saying it wasn't "surprising/interesting" Springer would play due to his history.

Would be nice to have some freaking offense though.

We have more offense than the Angels which is all that matters.

It is odd that things slow down at home. Someone mentioned the other day that perhaps it is the new backdrop in centerfield. Our guys may not be used to looking into that green monster with the H carved in it just yet.

Geez....I'm watching the play by play at work and Devo threw 14 pitches....13 for strikes! I wish I was at home watching him carve them up!

I understand. I just hope Hinch isn't sitting there thinking that Springer needs to play everyday simply to play him everyday.
