I don't know about the Rangers. I see the rotation, and after Hamels, i don't see much. Yes, Colby is having a great year, but he is a 4.5 pitcher, he will not continue pitching this way. Then you have Perez, yes, nice ERA but very high whip and an awful K per walk ratio. Holland, he has been terrible. And who is the fifth starter, Cesar Ramos? Bullpen, they do have 3 tough relievers, but can Matt Bush continue to dominate? Now, the hitters are good, and Moreland and Prince has not hit great and Choo is injured, the lineup is very good and play good defense. Can we catch them? Difficult, but i don't think the rotation is good.
Cangrejero... I understand that you think you simply want to talk baseball and not get "personal," but in reality almost every single post you make is somehow about you. I just looked through 6 pages of todays game thread, and look: **Spoilered for those who prefer not to read Cangre's posts.** Spoiler One main reason people don't talk baseball with you, and instead comment on you personally, is because you make every post somehow about you, what you think, what you would've done, and/or explaining why you were right (or wrong). You don't talk about baseball, you talk about yourself while using baseball as a avenue to do so.
Damn nice numbers. It's insane, the quick turnaround. But then again....not too surprising, it is the Astros...a team that loves to go streaking.
Great Sweep Great Great couple of weeks Lot of folks getting trolled really hard in here last two days. I mean dominant trolled
That's outstanding. Half of my family is from Blanco/Gillespie/Travis Counties. The other half is from Burnet/Llano/San Saba. Hell, we're probably cousins.
Yikes. Always feels good to sweep. Also, that clip from Old School popped into my mind when I typed streaking...lol.
Juicy schedule for the Astros after going to KC Angels White Sox Mariners A's Mariners A's Angels No reason not to be 5-10 games above .500 after that stretch.
Holland won't hurt that much with AJ Griffin coming back Saturday. The Rangers are keeping their fingers crossed that Darvish rebounds. That's the key to their 2nd half.
This is a solid post. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MYtjpIwamos" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
