If the Astros beat the Cardinals....

....I want the Yankees to beat the Red Sox...

Basically, I want the Astros to beat the Yankees in the World Series. Not the Red Sox.

Yeah, I know, I know....it will keep the Bambino curse alive. But what would the Red Sox do with themselves if they didn't have the curse to rage against? ;)

Also, I would almost feel sorry for the Red Sox if the Astros had to beat them in the World Series after beating the Yankees. I say, I'd *almost* feel sorry for them! :D

P.S. If the Astros loose to the Cards, then I'm rooting for the Red Sox all the way (it's fun to root for the underdog of the century. There a lot of O's fans here that are rooting for the Astros for that very same reason; office pool).

I have never seen Timlin work an inning without allowing multiple baserunners and falling behind every single batter. The guy is horrible.

Well, I am going to break my promise (what a surprise, right?).

But I cannot sit there and not comment on Terry Francona's ineptitude. You have Mike Myers, great situational lefty, but you don't even get him up throwing in the pen.

Timlin sucks ass. No way in hell we score 3 in the 9th.:(

But I am proud of them coming back from 8-0 down - Yanks definitely had to sweat this one out.

Hopefully, the starting pitching for us will be better tomorrow.

It will suck even more if they score 1 or 2 runs in the 9th inning. Then they will be really ripping into Timlin. At least the fans and media will be.
