Last year Adrian Peterson averaged 4.8ypc.

    Chris Johnson averaged 4.9.

Only twice in his career so far has he averaged 3.5 yards or less per carry in a single game. He is averaging 87 yards per game for his career.

Just to let you know. You called MJD great, and said rushing for 1,000 yards is nothing. MJD has never gone over 1,000 yards. This year he has fewer ypc, and ypg, but you think he is great, while Johnson is ok.

Texans brought in some RB's for tryouts yesterday...

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/20/texans-check-out-a-half-dozen-tailbacks/

Lorenzo Booker, Thomas Brown, Julius Crosslin, Kyle Eckel, Patrick Allen, and Ryan Torain.

I don't get it, something must be up. They probably just aren't satisfied with Foster and Chris Henry on practice squad and looking for someone that might be able to contribute eventually. Torain is interesting but I don't see how he could be recovered from that injury already.

Didn't read the rest of the post after learning that the #2 and #3 RBs in the league (Johnson and Benson) in terms of total yards are "average at best".

Terrible post. Subpar at best, like Brian Cook.

I would insult Frank Gore, but now that he is finally back, I need him getting me some fantasy points this week.

I'm not saying either way, but to call MJD great when he has yet to have 200 carries in a season is getting ahead of yourself.

If Gore, Benson, and Johnson all suck, who do you consider to be a good back? Just MJD and Peterson? There are more than 2 good backs in the league. Your definition of "good" might be a bit off.

I didnt say gore sucked. just said he's overrated. it's frustrating watching him. sometimes it looks like he's mailing it in. there were about 7 rushing attempts in the arizona game in which it looked like he wasnt even trying, and if he was than that's just sad

...but i am saying BENSON sucks. Im saying Johnson has no business going for 200 on any nfl team. he's decent. the texans made him look like a God...im saying the texans run D sucks, despite them stopping the great Cedric Benson and stopping the relentless oakland and arizona running game.

he didn't go for 200 yards rushing...he went for 197

and yes, texans run D is still suspect and always an area for concern, as is their pass D. Regardless, they have stopped the run the last 3 weeks, regardless of who it was.
