Did I hear them correctly: the Stros #9 hitter is now 0-fer their last 33?

Fisher isn’t any better than Jake right now. The one thing you can’t do right there is watch the 3rd strike over the heart of the plate.

There was an ESPN article today about how the bottom of the lineup in all of MLB has been historically bad this year. Apparently this isn't unique to the Astros but sure feels like it

Taking an 84 mph changeup down the middle for strike 3 is a pretty good way to let an opposing pitcher off the hook...

7 NL teams have a better OPS out of the 9-hole than the Astros do.

Like 75% of the AB's have been strikeouts, not even giving themselves a chance to luck into a blooper, or use their speed.

I don’t know if Tucker is the savior, but surely they can call up White or J.D. Davis again in the meantime. You can’t have two zeroes in Fisher and Marisnick.

Cold weather robs another home run.

Shields couldn't find the strikezone with a Garmin, Marwin pops up a cookie and Fisher just watches his. Blech.

It’s unfortunate that none of the non top of the draft draft picks have yet to pan out per the previously revered ground zero process. (Reed, Fisher).

Fisher has yet to prove he belongs up here. If there’s a better use of his spot, it should be explored. Super 2 be damned.

It's almost like Fisher and Marisnick sense Tucker looming and just are flailing away.

It’s just dumb that the system purposefully holds back better players over monetary issues that usually just come out in the wash (either in the form of guys getting traded when their team isn’t a contender, or guys signing extensions to buy out arbitration years).

Hopefully the vets don’t throw the minor league guys under the bus with the next CBA.

If the Astros are indeed going to deploy the Omega-13 technology tonight, it sure seems like the Fisher at bat would have been the time to do it.
