"high school" student asks Julia to the prom, Altuve gets MVP chants when he batted in that run 6 game winning streak. don't jump of the ledge just yet!
Almost feel sorry for the White Sox there but then I remember back to the '05 World Series and f**k them!
Greatest CF ever !!! His defense has worsened since that thread, but if he hits like last season, no biggie.
When the Astros are clicking, they look scary good. But putting things in perspective, everybody is clicking against the White Sox. Still feels good to beat up the team that ruined our only other WS appearance.

Marwin is finally starting to make some things happen during this stretch. Nobody realistically expects him to be 2017 Marwin, but he's much better than the .550 OPS that he had a week ago. After an awful week to start the season, his K/BB ratios are much more in line with last season, which was the primary catalyst in his huge OBP jump. Good to see Gattis finally get into one in garbage time, but still think the DH version of him simply isn't any good.
Brandon Belt's (SFG) 21-pitch AB yesterday breaks the MLB record for longest AB set by Ricky Gutierrez '98 (HOU) who saw 20 pitches vs Bartolo Colon. Pretty Ricky what they called him.
I saw that the other day. Not sure what it means, but it is certainly an interesting stat for someone who has played in every game but one. It ALMOST applied to Jake as well. They are 6-1 in the 7 games he has had a hit.
