In all seriousness, I wonder if Jake has had his eyes checked. He just doesn’t seem to be picking the ball up. I am just searching for the dramatic decline. Yes he was started quality but he was at least a 4th OF now it is very questionable if he is still a major leaguer.

 

His defense is keeping him in the league. But young, cheap 4/5th OFers with a good glove who can't hit MLB pitching are not exactly scarce.

It was nice to see Lance still have a nice start without his best stuff. Hopefully he is turning the corner maturity wise. Lance for two years ago maybe even last might have lost it there by getting frustrated in those middle innings.
