If 2014-15 Sipp was in this bullpen....[sigh]

I understand wanting to get the bullpen some work but I really would’ve liked to see Morton for one more inning. Wasn’t a high pitch count and he was rolling.

Morton was efficient and not in trouble at all with pitch count. Keuchel was able to go 8 the other game but a pitcher having a much better year wasn't allowed. Hinch did the Mariners a favor.

There was no reason to put Morton back out there, given the lead and the month and his injury history. Save those bullets.

I'm sure he wanted to go back out though, as any starter would.

ETA: Seriously? **** this. We have to use 3 relievers to get 6 outs in a 6 run game?

Morton has never lasted a full season in his 10 year career. There's simply no need to throw him out there in a 6-0 game - save his innings for when they matter. If the bullpen can't hold a 6 run lead, the team has bigger issues to worry about.

Just think he deserved a chance to at least go one more inning. At the very least don't put a gas can in there like Sipp to give the other team hope. Oh well good to get a run back there.

I'm happy we didn't fold the franchise after that mini losing streak!

Weird game, even Julia bobbled that food promo she was doing .

Almost feel good enough with lead to put Giles in.

After the game 1 loss to Seattle I proposed a lineup shift for a spell to bring Altuve back to the 2 hole.

Next game he was there in and been hitting since.

Glad to see the bats going again
