Spurs were up by about 10 and the Splitter show was in full effect. I switched over to the Celts game and now NYK are up by 5 again?!

J.R. Smith is going to win 6th Man this year. He has been a monster off the pine for Woodson, racking up 18 & 5 w/ nearly .50 FG%.

He just needs to keep shooting 80% from beyond the arc on volume shooting and it will be a reality.

    They're the real deal.

    They have very few weaknesses.

JR Smith is shooting over 70% from 3 point land. That is not going to continue.

My forecast for the Knicks is pretty much the same as it is for the Lakers. This team will play very well for about 50 games. But they're not even remotely a championship team, and I won't be surprised to see them become an away team in the playoffs at all.

They play elite defense with two great perimeter defenders (Brewer and Shumpert). Their PG play has improved greatly over the summer. Knock down perimeter shooters including the best 3Pt shooter in the League. A top 3 6th man in the NBA who looks like he's finally matured this year. One of the deepest squads in the League and great veteran leadership. Add all of that including the most talented scorer in the League & a Top 5 player in Anthony. They're contenders this year in my opinion.

Only real question mark is Amare.

    NYK-BKN on TNT right now.

Tyson Chandler just flushed a filthy put-back over Crash, followed by Sheed sinking a trey and then barking, "all f***ing night!" High-energy game through the 1st Q. But, aside from the occasional "Brooklyn! Brooklyn!" chant, the atmosphere at Barclays has been underwhelming. Surprised to see empty seats scattered throughout the lower deck.

Also, I'm eager to see the Knicks once Shump & STAT return. Woodson will have a logjam at PG, though Kidd is more than capable as a spot-up 2.

I learned today that Jerry Stackhouse is still in the league.

lol 3-19! If it's not your night then it might be a good idea to stop shooting.

    3-19 is inexcusable.

Apparently not. Sheed can't stay up all f***ing night at his age. Next time he should shout "all f***ing quarter!" instead. Just to be a little more realistic.

Knicks have been so mediocre and so overrated for so long now.

    I love seeing them suffer.

Aside from the Lakers, I enjoy seeing the Knicks lose the most. Especially after listening to years of "we're bad now, but we're gonna sign Lebron!" or "we're bad now, but CP3's coming!" or "trade Melo, build around Lin!" or "Melo's the best player in the game right now!".
