Yeah they look impressive this year. The play great defense, the ball is moving, Carmelo has been unplayable & their 3 PG's this year is a HUGE improvement on the garbage they had last year. Amare will put an end to all of that though.
Knicks fan, what do you expect. Also probably one of those crazy Melo fans who can't stand any criticism of Melo.
And don't forget this guy is coming to town... More evidence that the Knicks are still a garbage-assed organization. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...etwork-pull-controversial-new-york-knicks-ads
Their recent history has been that they make noise in the regular season and then disappear come playoff time. Given the age of this bunch, the likelihood of injury (just saying older tired players more likely get injured in the first place), and the grueling season (that wears down older player far more than young ones), I expect the same story this year.
I am watching the Knicks vs Spurs right now. Hate to say that but this Knicks team is legit. Melo didn't play well tonight, but at least he is not forcing it. Chandler is still a very good finisher. J.R is playing much better than last year. Raymond Felton is surprising me. Guy is obviously playing with a chip on his shoulder. He is playing a much higher level than Jeremy Lin. Jeremy should really thinking about what the hell he was doing during this summer.
My rear view mirror was clear of Lin mist up until now.... Not a discussion has gone by without someone mentioning Lin...
They look great right now/tonight, but I just don't see how this continues. J.R. Smith is shooting over 80 percent from 3pt range this season. I don't think that's sustainable.
