Honestly, I want it that way. Keep the pressure on Boston. I know Bregman and all say they like the pressure, which is fine, but the more expectations on the Red Sox the better to cause Sale/Price make mistakes, or for the line up to become over aggressive and swing for fences on off speed pitches.
I like our chances as a road team but the first game might be tough for the timing considering the longer layoff between series. It might take us a game or two to get it going. Btw if anyone watched the first game between Dodgers and Brewers ... did anyone else feel distracted by the scenery behind homeplate or was it just me?
MLB would slobber all over a LA/BOS WS, I imagine the nightmare scenario is a HST/MIL WS. I don’t care how MLB feels about it I just want us in again.
Yeah, I was also thinking that. It would be pretty cool to see as someone who grew up with AL Brewers and NL Astros.
They rely so heavily on their pen... we saw how that worked out last year in the WS for the Dodgers. Overused pen running on fumes by the end tossing up meatballs.
I wanted to be Paul Molitor and Robin Yount. Be good and play everywhere, Marwin-style before Marwin was a thing.
Hmm, Sale's never won a Cy Young. With as much talk as he gets, I just assumed he had at some point. Verlander's SO:BB ratio is just absurd.
