The Starting Rotation was setup bad in the First place Keuchel in Game 3 and Game 7 that is is 2 losses guaranteed. Charlie should've started Game 3 and Game 7 and had rest. Forrest Whitley, Myles Straw should've been selected over Joe Smith, Hector Rondon Real threat of a pitcher, and a real base running threat. Marwin, Jake, cannot steal a base at all. Really weird, injured off years For Marwin Gonzalez, Dallas Keuchel, Lance McCullers Jr., Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Yuli Gurriel, Roberto Osuna. Underperforming, Injuries, Jail Time and Suspension for Osuna, There is bad Karma on the team and I think the team as a whole is showing it in this series now.
They scored 5 runs last game and 7 the one before. That’s just under 4.7 a game this series and would be good for 10th best in baseball (better than Milwaukee of the teams left). They had 7 hits tonight. Sometimes there is a little luck in how you string the hits together, but this isnt that abnormal of a three game stretch, nor is it particularly bad.
I think this is what happens when you talk baseball on a basketball board. There are 31 other teams who would love Keuchel as a number 3. You could make a legitimate argument you’d rather have Morton go in game 7, but Morton might not be 100% and can pitch out of the bullpen which Keuchel has struggled with the few times he’s done it recently.
